5.6km return. Allow 2–3 hours including time at the ridge lookout over the Whitsunday Passage.

Is Conway National Park suitable for kids?+

The Coral Beach track (2.4km return) suits most families. Mt Rooper is steeper and better for older kids and adults.

What should I bring on a Conway National Park hike?+

At least 1.5L of water per person, sunscreen, a hat, and closed-toe walking shoes. Start early in summer.

Where does the Conway hiking track start?+

From the day-use car park off Shute Harbour Road, about 5 minutes east of Airlie Beach township.
